UPC C.L.A.S.S. PROGRAM = CHRISTIAN LIFE AND SERVICE SEMINARS
Each class builds on the others, so they are taken sequentially.
New classes are being arranged.
Classes meet for 3 to 4 hours, including a meal and fellowship time.
Call the church office (650-948-4361) to sign up for your next CLASS!
“Discovering Los Altos Union PC” - Class 101
Come to the “Discovering Los Altos Union PC” Class 101 to hear about the benefits and commitments of joining our church family. You hear our vision and purposes for our church and its future. We review our programs and opportunities for all ages to mature in Christ. You can ask all of your questions about what we believe in and what we require of members. Coming to this class does not obligate you to join our church family. If you need child-care for young children, let us know right away so we can help arrange that for you.
Discovering Spiritual Maturity - Class 201
The purpose of this class is that you may become a mature Christian to fulfill God’s will for your life. We will focus on the four basic habits that every Christian needs to develop to grow to spiritual maturity - being like Christ; time with God’s Word, prayer, giving, and fellowship. You must have completed the Discover UPC 101 course or be a member of UPC to attend.
“Discover Your SHAPE” - Class 301
Our place of ministry is determined by our SHAPE. What God made you to BE determines what He intends you to DO. You will understand the purpose you were created for when you understand the kind of person you are. This is the secret to knowing God’s will for your life! God has given you inborn talents, temperaments, spiritual gifts, and all sorts of life experiences to use to make a difference for Him. Discover your SHAPE. To take this class, you need to have taken Class 201 or ask Pastor Mike Clark if you qualify to be in this class.
“Discover Your Mission” - Class 401
Offered for the first time in January 2006, Class 401 prepares you to fulfill the mission God made you to accomplish in this life. Discover your life mission and your life message through practical ‘how to’ teaching units. Learn how to share your life changing experience so that others can know the transforming life in Christ.
