Women of Union Retreat - Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Union PC from 8:30 am. to 4:30 pm. Julia Roberson has agreed to be our retreat speaker this year. Julia was a Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship for 7 years and now is the area advisor for 13 Northern California BSF classes. She is a delightful and dynamic speaker. Be sure to circle the date on your 2008 calendar now.

Women's Book Club meets in the Church Library on the 2nd Tuesdays of the month at 12 Noon. We will read any book from the Price Library. Please bring a can of beef soup for the "Soup Share."

Union PC Women provide the service.

In the past UPC Women have had as their mission projects, Mountain View/Los Altos Community Services, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Gretchen Hare, Sally McNees, Bethesda Teaching (Santa Marta) and Santa Clara County Hospital Chaplaincy.

The Fellowship and Service group is one of the activities of UPC Women. They make quilts and toys, and gather layettes for Valley Medical Center and lap robes for the Veterans Hospital.

*You don't need to be able to sew to participate in this fellowship/support/service group. There are hand-tying and other pieces of the work that allow all ladies to join in. So come be a part of this great group!
