Wait, you say… what happened to the “Adult Growth & Discipleship” section? We’re trying out a new name for this ministry area! Spiritual formation is a lifelong process… the growth and development of the whole person by an intentional focus on one’s spiritual life in Christ, interactions with others in ordinary life, and the spiritual practices or disciplines (prayer, the study of scripture, solitude, confession…). We want to be transformed in growing closer to Christ through the study and practice of these personal spiritual disciplines, lifelong learning and building relationship with Christ and with each other.
Would you like to help shape this ministry? We are looking for a few folks who have a passion for … adult growth… discipleship… Christian education… spiritual formation… whatever the name!... to serve on an advisory/planning team. Meetings will be rare (!) and the rewards will be great.
Small Groups
Small groups at UPC are our strength, whether focused on Bible study, books reviews, watching movies, sewing or walking. We gather to share our lives, to celebrate, to encourage and to serve one another and our community. Periodically, we all focus on one study and share our insights. If you are not a part of a small group right now, call the church office and leave your name. We’ll try to find just the right group for you! If you are already in a group and are looking for new material to study, please call Barbara Hansen (650-941-0151). We have many types of study materials available.

Los Altos Union PC, we enjoy our friendships! One of
the best ways to do this is to join one of our many
small groups. We have men's groups, women's groups,
combined men and women groups, morning, afternoon and
evening groups. Give our office a call so we can find
out what type of group you are interested in - Bible
study, parenting, moms, Christians in business, etc.
