Union Presbyterian Church is pleased and excited to welcomes Patrick Grover as the Youth and Children’s Ministry Coordinator.  He will provide guidance and leadership for the Sunday morning children’s and youth classes as well as for the mid-week youth and Sunday activities.  Patrick will also assist in developing Sunday morning activities and courses for parents of our children and youth and other special activities involving the greater church family.

He has twenty years experience filling a wide variety of ministerial duties including:  created and established a youth ministry, taught Sunday school for children, and youth and lead Vacation Bible Schools.  Patrick is a graduate of Western Theological Seminary.

Fall Sunday school for children and youth begins Sunday, September 11, and meets from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. 

All youth are invited to the fall Wednesday evening youth group (6th-12th grades).   Everyone is welcome!  Regular weekly Wednesday evening Youth Group will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church starting September 14.

Patrick is married and has three children.  His wife, Shari serves part-time as the Director of Children and Family Ministries at the Morgan Hill Presbyterian Church.  Shari is an ordained Presbyterian Pastor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. 

Patrick will assume the responsibility for providing an environment and opportunities for youth, children and their families to grow in their relationship with God through Jesus Christ and develop healthy family dynamics.  For more information please call the church office at 650-948-4361.
